EXPRESS YOUR SELF- April 10  7 to 9.  Get inspired about exploring  the ways we express what matters!

WHERE AND WHEN.  See flyer below.  The space is beautiful.

WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR? For someone ready to have some fun and some direction for new ways express oneself and be inspired.

WHAT WILL I COME AWAY WITH?

  1. More INSIGHT into how you can shape the material of your life towards purpose and meaning.
  2. Writing strategies and musical opportunities that will inspire you to keep going to the arts for expression and to literature for inspiration.
  3. More clarity about how to tune into YOUR INNER KNOWING.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?  I will  provide   almost all the supplies that you need. You will need to  go to your bookshelf or the  local library and select 3 books that seem to be appealing to your heart right now.  You do not have to have read them or they do not need to be favourite books.  They will create for us a jumping off place for expression.

HOW CAN I REGISTER?  To inquire and register  leave your name at the link below.  Or, if you prefer, text or call me at 403-477-9472.

CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT THE WORKSHOP LEADER?

Yes, a little  bit about me, Karen Daniels. I have been a registered occupational therapist since 1980 and a registered expressive arts therapist since 2016.   After much study, I  spent a year researching, writing and capturing how expressive arts therapy and narrative therapy intersect, that is...where is the magic? what makes these methods be such powerful influencers of change? I  have captured this essence as seven key strategies. Profoundly  transformed personally by that research and by my professional training/experience in mental health and addiction, I  am  now committed to creating spaces for women and men to discover how to transform life transitions into turning points, to take ahold of the rudder to navigate life.

Here it is...one of the things I love to do the most...gather people together  for a few sessions, especially those who are committed to  exploring a transition, making a lifestyle change and deepening the shift through arts methods. It is a powerful way of bringing the right and the left brain together,  listening to the body, spirit and mind,  embracing our whole self.  Is this listening to inner wisdom, I think so. I love the way transformation happens, how arts methods free our imagination and give the judging and thinking less power. Join me in this process.
